A city slicker penguin. Gotta love 'em! The crew from Equilibrium at a baby party for our receptionist, Shannon. Gansbaai's original harbor. Gansbaai is known as the Coast of Contrast. It lives up to this name. A gorgeous place!

The oldest building in the harbor. Now a "dive shop". The "White Death" has a history here! Bokkums.

Heading to Klipgat caves just outside Gansbaai. Finds here date back to the Middle Stone Age - 85 million years ago! Hiking down into one of the caves. This is not one of the dig sites, but it was a great spot. Looking across to the other side of the cove.

Inside the little cave. Small but lots of "new" growth. Formations are beginning! It looks like a stalagmite could form here...

Baby stalactites! The view from the inside of the archway in a previous picture. Africa....

The dig site. Artifacts from the Khoisan, 2000 years ago, are also found back in the cave system. The yellow circles on the wall, marks the entrance. A unique window to the sea from Klipgat main cave area. Looking over to the other cave. We hiked in and around 3 of them. All relatively small and lots of fun!
