Western Cape Highlights

After a week in dusty Johannesburg, I was overjoyed to get back to my beloved Cape and the ocean! Here's images from the dives today and from a week or so ago. Enjoy!

Fishes on deck of the PMB wreck. On our "giant swell" and bad vis dive last weekend. A little shyshark finding shelter from hard surge on the PMB wreck. Indian Ocean The scene toward the Boss 400 wreck. One of 5 wrecks in this cove on the Atlantic side!

Cuttlefish on the Maori wreck. My strobes were dead, thus BW was better than green & white. :) Peaceful kelp at the top deck of the Maori. Beautiful dive. Boss 400. The lower submerged part of the wreck offers up a great little dive.

Colors & Texture! This was shot from underneath as this sponge stuck straight off the wall. If it wasn't for the 48F water, I'd swear I was in the South Pacific. :)

Justins Caves from the backside Diving the rubble of the Romelia. I like this shot because you can see the surface ripples through the porthole.
