| Danny at the entrance to Chac Mol. A great dive I hadn't been to in a while. |
Chac Mol cenote. I enjoyed 2 fabulous dives here with Danny, Joe, Laurynn and Dave. We also dove Nah Hoch Na Chich that morning. GREAT DIVES! |
Jungle around Chac Mol. |

| Joe, pre-dive, doing his tourist thing! |
Checking out the "new" cenote... a last minute adventure. The road was just cut through so the van could get about 3/4 of the way in. |
Patching holes in the path. |
| The cenote entrance. See the slot in the rocks.... |
The Very Professional Dive Exploration van. <G> |
Danny checks out the best entry point. |
| For contrast, this was the cenote entrance with Danny standing next to it. |
Looking for an entrance... is there one? |
A beautiful setting in the Yucatan, for a nice cave dive. |
| Going in to check out setting up the gear in the hole. |
The Road into the cenote. |
Setting up the camera while braving the masses of mosquito's with no bug repellent to be found. eek! |
| The VPDEV is a perfect set up area. |
Danny poses for the camera on the roadside. |
The entrance to the cenote we dove that day. This was the first site as we headed into the cave. |
| Percolation from the cave kept visibility a challenge. A few moments of beautiful scenery, then milky water... amazing. |
Another scene from the cave. Note the percolation, which is simply from our exhalation bubbles! A very fragile system. |
A telltale sign of how long since someone has been here... note the dirty line arrow. A very cool dive. |
| Silt layer on the bottom is a very soft mud. Stir it up and it's like chocolate milk. The ceiling percolation was white... kind of like a swirl ice cream! |
The final clue to determine our exact location in this particular cenote. Awesome! |
A shot in the other side of the cenote from where we entered. The Cenote was crescent shaped, we returned and exited where we came in. |

Danny and I in the Cenote after returning from our dive. Great fun and thank you to Danny for taking me on this great little adventure! |
